Mission and scope


The mission of the SED is to promote of research and unrestricted dissemination of modern scientific knowledge on topical issues of social progress and sustainable development.

We publish original articles by scientists and practitioners dedicated to:

      • the interdisciplinary development and digitalization of the social and humanitarian sphere and economic social relations under the influence of information technologies;
      • the research of effective practices and features of the functioning of socio-economic systems and their transformations in different countries of the world;
      • the search and justification of promising directions, approaches, mechanisms, and technologies for solving current social problems and ensuring sustainable development in conditions of digitalization.

Articles, which are published in the SED, contain original results of scientific research on solving important theoretical and methodological problems and scientific and practical tasks in the following thematic areas:

  • Mechanisms and technologies of public management and business administration in solving social problems
  • Directions and prospects for the development of financial and credit relations and taxation in the conditions of global modern challenges
  • Accounting, analysis and control in the system of increasing the efficiency and safety of socio-economic transformations
  • Information systems and technologies as determinants of the formation of the digital economy and socio-economic ecosystems
  • Interdisciplinary development of social relations and of the social and humanitarian sphere under the influence of digitalization.

The publication is aimed at satisfying research, cognitive and educational needs and is useful for scholars and/or experts, researchers, academic community, policymakers, practitioners, and students of higher education.


Principles and practice


The functioning of our publication is based on the principles of transparency and best practices in scholarly publishing defined by COPE.

The use of the Open Access Model allows us to adhere to the basic principle of our publication: the dissemination of modern scientific knowledge without restrictions. All articles in our publication are published in open access under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license.

The high quality of publications is ensured by the expertise and experience of the Editorial Board, which is a team of experts and scientists in defined thematic areas.

The publication is financed solely by the founder's funds in combination with article processing charge (APC).

Indexing and referencing


The editorial board carries out systematic work to ensure publication indexing in scientometrics databases, inclusion in international electronic libraries and catalogs. This supports our positive image and helps to increase the availability of published works for perusal among a wide audience of readers and researchers.

  CrossRef is an international association of publishers of scientific publications, created for the purpose of developing and supporting the worldwide high-tech infrastructure of scientific communications by building the electronic infrastructure of mutual citation of scientific publications.
  Google Scholar is an open access search engine that indexes the full text of scientific publications of all formats and disciplines.
  Directory of Open Access Scholarly Resources (ROAD) is a service offered by the ISSN International Centre with the support of the Communication and Information Sector of UNESCO. ROAD provides free access to a subset of the ISSN Register.
  The Keepers  is a global monitor on the archiving arrangements for continuing resources, which provide the digital shelves for access to content over the long term.
  Scilit is a comprehensive content aggregator platform for scientific publications.
  The OUCI  is a ukrainian search engine and a citation database that come from all publishers that use the Crossref’s Cited-by service and supports the Initiative for Open Citations.
